WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 25, 2025) – Game. Set. Gala. The USTA Mid-Atlantic Foundation today announced the return of its marquee event, the 2025 Tennis Creates Gala, to be held on Saturday, December 6 at the luxurious Salamander Hotel in Washington, D.C. This inspiring evening will celebrate influential changemakers in the sport and highlight the Foundation’s mission, showcasing the transformative power of tennis through its three guiding pillars: Community, Character, and Well-Being.

“The Tennis Creates Gala is a powerful reminder that tennis is more than a game; it’s a vehicle for growth, resilience, and belonging,” said Tara Fitzpatrick-Navarro, CEO of the USTA Mid-Atlantic Foundation. “As we honor the extraordinary contributions of our local champions, we reaffirm our commitment to creating access, equity, and joy through tennis for generations to come.”

Led by gala co-chairs Andrew and Michele Brammer, guests will enjoy an elegant evening of fine dining, lively music, and heartfelt giving, featuring exciting silent and live auctions with exclusive experiences and one-of-a-kind items—all in support of the Foundation’s mission to make tennis accessible to everyone in the region. Proceeds from the Gala will directly support the USTA Mid-Atlantic Foundation’s programs, including free and low-cost tennis for youth, the rapidly growing Girls Rule the Court™ program, community and facility projects, and educational and wellness-focused initiatives.
